Gimstudio Founding History
On May 28, 2024, PixelPreacher joined the Gimkit Discord server. Back then, he did a lot of Gimkit art and made Gims for other server members. One day, he scrolled up the art channel to find other quality artworks. He was very surprised, there were so many well-drawn Gimkit pieces. A thought came up from his mind:
I can’t be the only one to see these. These artworks shouldn’t be buried in dust as time passes. Could they be remembered if there were a place to store them, where people could revisit them over time?
So in June 2025, this site, Gimstudio, was founded after PixelPreacher asked Mathew, Ohioan, Tsonic54, and Julian for help, a site not only to preserve these artworks, but also to feature more artists and let more people see their work.
